The following privacy statement pertains to the use of this ELEVATE Innovation (hereafter referred to as ELEVATE) website.


SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you make a private charter inquiry with ELEVATE, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, email address and phone number. At this stage of the relationship we collect only that data which is necessary in order for us to contact you and provide our services. This data may be that of the person making the charter inquiry and not the actual passenger(s).

We do not share personal information with third parties, except as outlined below in Section 3, until you confirm by signature the acceptance of a quote and the terms of a charter contract. Once you sign the charter contract you authorize ELEVATE to collect and share the personal information of those who will be on board the aircraft, along with any other details we are required to collect, for the aircraft operator including their flight crew. 

The aircraft operator and crew requires the personal information of all individuals, as well as information on any pets, who will be on board their aircraft for security purposes, and if applicable, for customs and immigration purposes where a flight crosses international border(s). Your information could be shared with government bodies responsible for ensuring aviation security and the integrity of customs and immigration laws.

 

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to inquire about or to complete a charter booking, including verification of your form of payment, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

ELEVATE does not collect personal data for marketing purposes unless you specifically choose to opt-in to such services. If we ask for your personal information for marketing use, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you opt-in to a marketing campaign and you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at support@elevatecharter.com. You may also unsubscribe from mailing lists by clicking on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email.

 

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information only if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

 

SECTION 4 - SQUARESPACE

Our site is hosted on Squarespace Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to market our services to you. Your data is not stored by Squarespace Inc. Data you enter on our forms is passed through to ELEVATE, is not stored and cannot be retrieved by Squarespace Inc.


SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES and LINKS TO OTHER SITES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as aircraft operators we contract or payment gateways that we may use to process your credit card, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

Remember that certain third parties may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. If you elect to proceed from our website to a third-party, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that third party or its facilities are located.

Once you leave our website you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service. When you click on links on our site, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

Google analytics:

Our site uses Google Analytics to help us learn about who visits our site and what pages are being looked at.

 

SECTION 6 - SECURITY

To protect your sensitive personal information, ELEVATE takes reasonable precautions and follows industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide ELEVATE with credit card information by phone, the information is immediately entered into a secure system, encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored encrypted by ELEVATE’s third party credit card processor. Your purchase transaction data is not stored by ELEVATE. It is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction by the credit card processor. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. Your credit card details are only retained if you specifically authorize ELEVATE to retain this information for future use. In such cases the information is stored on a password-protected external device that is not connected to the internet.

ELEVATE’s third party credit card processor is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 compliant..

Payment:

FOR YOUR SECURITY, NEVER EMAIL CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO US UNLESS WE SPECIFICALLY ASK FOR IT USING ONE OF OUR FORMS. Depending on the service offered we accept Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) through major banks, wire payments, and certain credit cards.

 

SECTION 7 - COOKIES

The main purpose of a cookie is to identify users and commonly prepare customized web pages or to save information. We’ve listed the cookies that our site may use so that you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not. Note that cookies used by third party links such as those contained in some of our blog posts are not listed here and are managed by those third parties.
